*A & J Mechanical Inc.* is currently looking for *Level 1, 2, and 3 Apprentice Plumbers* to join our growing team.

We are looking for dependable, motivated apprentices who take pride in their work and are interested in developing their skills in the plumbing trade. This is a great opportunity for apprentices looking for steady work, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to learn alongside experienced journeypersons.

Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the direction of experienced journeypersons and supervisors on a variety of plumbing projects. Duties may include:

• Assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
• Installing and working with piping, fixtures, equipment, and related components
• Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and jobsite instructions
• Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing piping systems
• Using hand and power tools safely and appropriately
• Maintaining an organized and safe work area
• Following company policies, safety procedures, and jobsite requirements
• Working effectively with journeypersons, other trades, supervisors, and project teams
• Completing assigned work efficiently and to company quality standards
• Developing trade knowledge and skills throughout the apprenticeship

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who:

Must have a valid drivers license, transportation and smart phone.

• Are currently registered or eligible to be registered as a *Level 1, 2, or 3 Plumbing Apprentice in Manitoba*
• Have a strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Are willing to learn and take direction
• Can work independently when appropriate and as part of a team
• Have good communication and problem-solving skills
• Understand the importance of jobsite safety
• Are physically capable of performing the regular duties of the plumbing trade
• Have their own basic hand tools appropriate to their apprenticeship level

Previous construction or plumbing experience is an asset, particularly for candidates entering Level 1.
