Urgently Hiring ? Healthcare Aide (Monday to Friday)

YEG Home Care Services is urgently hiring an experienced and reliable Healthcare Aide to provide care and assistance to a client in the morning.

Position Details

• Position: Healthcare Aide (HCA)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9:30 AM ? 12:30 PM
• Start Date: Monday, September 14, 2026
• Employment Type: Part-time
• Location: Client?s home

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist with:

• Personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assisting with medication reminders and medication-related support, as permitted by the care plan and applicable regulations.
• In and out catheterization, if required and within the candidate?s training, certification, and authorized scope of practice.
• Mobility assistance and safe transfers.
• Meal preparation and meal assistance.
• Light housekeeping related to the client?s care.
• Monitoring the client?s comfort, safety, and well-being.
• Providing compassionate, respectful, and professional care.
• Following the client?s care plan and reporting any concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Healthcare Aide or Caregiver.
• Good knowledge and experience in handling and assisting clients with personal care needs.
• Reliable, punctual, and compassionate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care instructions.
• A valid HCA certificate or relevant experience, as applicable to the position.
• A reliable vehicle and the ability to drive are preferred.
• Candidates living near the client?s service area will be given preference.
