Job Description

A Manufacturing Production Coordinator plays a crucial role in the planning and execution of manufacturing processes. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, organizational skills, and the ability to work well with a team. The primary focus is on coordinating the various components of production, from inventory management to ensuring safety protocols are followed. A successful Manufacturing Coordinator ensures that production goals are met on time and within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate production schedules and manufacturing activities

Oversee inventory levels and ensure materials are available for production

Track production rates with labor hours vs units complete

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve any production issues

Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records

Ensure timely delivery of finished products

Assist in the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques

Monitor workflow and adjust schedules as necessary to meet production targets

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team

Good time management skills

Basic understanding of production scheduling

Skills :

Previous experience in manufacturing

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles

Proficiency in inventory management software (QuickBase or similar)

Excellent problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Knowledge of quality control standards
