Job description

Roles & responsibilities

Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of completion tools and equipment to ensure operational readiness and reliability.

Operate and maintain workshop equipment, including torque bucking units, pressure test bays, and other completion service equipment.

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment testing, and accurate service documentation while complying with Weatherford procedures and HSE standards.

This is a technical role requiring a competent technician who can safely handle specialized equipment.

Desired candidate profile

Repair and maintenance of completion tools and equipment

Operation of torque bucking units, pressure test bays, and workshop equipment

Mechanical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis

Preventive and corrective maintenance

Ability to read technical drawings and manuals

Knowledge of HSE and quality standards

Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and accountability

Qualifications

Diploma or technical certificate in mechanical engineering or a related discipline

Minimum 2-3 years of repair and maintenance experience, preferably with completion tools or oil and gas equipment

Experience operating and maintaining workshop equipment, including torque bucking units and pressure test bays

Ability to safely handle, inspect, and maintain specialized completion equipment

Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation

Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
