*SUMMARY:*

Banquet Servers are responsible for delivering high-quality service to guests during banquet events, ensuring an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will be courteous, attentive, and professional, with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. The Banquet Server will work closely with the banquet team to set up, serve, and clean up events, maintaining the highest standards of service throughout.

*RESPONSIBILITIES:*

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and other décor.
• Ensure that all settings are properly placed and in excellent condition.
• Check the cleanliness and presentation of all event areas before guests arrive.
• Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously during the event
• Respond to guest requests and needs during the event.
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times.
• Communicate with culinary team and other banquet team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Work closely with the Banquet Captain and Event Coordinator to ensure all event details are executed as planned.
• Ensure all equipment and banquet areas are properly stored and maintained.
• Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout the event.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

*QUALIFICATIONS:*

• Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar food service role is preferred.
• Experience in a hotel or upscale event environment is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with others.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays, equipment, and supplies up to 50lbs.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Serving it Right certification required.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.36 per hour
