Optometric Assistant ? Pre-Testing

We are looking for an *experienced, patient-focused Optometric Assistant* to join our busy, full-scope optometric practice.

We provide *premium eye care and high-quality eyewear*, and we?re looking for someone who shares our commitment to exceptional patient care. If you?re energetic, organized, professional, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment, we?d love to meet you!

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients throughout their visit
• Collect patient history and provide excellent customer service
• Perform pre-testing, including *autorefraction, NCT, lensometry, Optomap, visual fields, OCT, and dilation*
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Help maintain efficient patient flow
• Support the team with other duties as needed

The Ideal Candidate

• *1+ year of optometric assistant experience required*
• Experienced and comfortable performing pre-testing
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Positive, energetic, and professional
• Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient
• Able to multitask in a busy environment
• Strong team player who can also work independently
• Experience with an *EMR system*
• Committed to patient confidentiality and quality care

*Evening and Saturday shifts are required.*

Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.

*Long-term candidates only.* Applicants must be located in *Windsor, Tecumseh, or surrounding areas.*
