Container Unloader

Moerdijk - €14.99 per hour - Logistics - 40 hour

We are currently seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team at Van der Helm as Container Unloaders!

As a Warehouse employee at Van der Helm you are responsible for a number of different tasks. For example, you will be orderpicking, stacking and preparing fashion materials for transport. You work from 07:00 to 16:00 hours and you have a 1 hour break a day. You wear work shoes for this position.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Unload goods from shipping containers accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect and verify incoming shipments against packing lists or manifests.
• Sort, label, and organize products as per company standards.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move products.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding shipment details and any discrepancies.
• Assist in inventory control and stock management activities.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• You are ready to join our team at Van der Helm: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
• You should be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is important to you.
• Basic math and reading skills are part of what you bring to the table.
• You are a good communicator and work well in a team.
• You're willing to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
