Sports Assistant NF-02

This position is located at USAG Stuttgart - MWR, Patch Fitness Center, Patch Barracks, Stuttgart, Germany. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Major duties

• Supports activities and services of the athletics and intramural sports program. Provides oversight of events and tournaments.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of athletic facilities. Ensures adherence to regulations and safety procedures.
• Monitors condition of, cleans, and performs minor maintenance on athletics equipment.
• Assists in setting up for special events and sports tournaments. Assistants with publicity of events and tournaments and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers, and other promotional material.
• Provides outstanding customer service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the position. 2. Must be able to obtain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": One year of full-time work experience in the sports and fitness industry. Current nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED. Applicant meeting the Best Qualifying Criteria/Highly Preferred will be referred to the hiring manager.
