Site Engineer

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction activities of the project.

Lead a team of operation staff in daily operations.

Monitor and control the general workers' deployment on-site.

Maintain and manage site storage areas for building materials and equipment.

Maintain site access throughout the construction period.

Planning ahead to prevent the problem on-site before it occurs, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials.

Ensure progress of work is within budget and timelines as well as quality and safety objectives.

Control and monitor work progress and resources.

Monitor and control material wastage.

In-depth understanding of project specifications, technical details, and construction drawings.

Carry out work scheduling, material requisition planning, project coordination, and documentation.

Ensure timely completion and good quality of works & carried out safely and WSHE regulations are complied with.

Ensuring that the site works are completed with high quality standards and adhering to safety requirements throughout the project.

Attend progress meeting, coordinate with the contractor, suppliers on all project implementation issues and attend site meetings when required.

Report to the Project Director.

Overall in charge of site coordination.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Education: Candidate must possess a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering

Experience: Minimum 3 year of experience in construction industry in Singapore

Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and project plans

Familiarity with construction methods, planning, materials, and equipment

Ability to work in a team environment

Work in a fast-paced and busy environment
