Junior Scripwriter

Responsibilities:

• Write scripts for vertical content formats including short dramas, Reels, TikTok series, and YouTube Shorts
• Develop story concepts based on creative briefs, campaign ideas, or talent personas
• Craft strong story arcs, natural dialogue, and attention-grabbing hooks within the first few seconds
• Collaborate closely with creative teams, producers, editors, and talent to refine and finalise scripts
• Revise scripts based on feedback and production requirements
• Adapt writing style to suit the tone, target audience, and platform specifications
• Stay current with storytelling trends and content formats across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
• Maintain character consistency and narrative continuity throughout a series

Qualifications:

• Minimum Fresh Graduates Diploma/Bachelor's Degree (background in Communications, Literature, Film, Broadcasting, or related fields is a plus)
• Prior scriptwriting experience is welcome — fresh graduates encouraged to apply; internship or freelance experience is an advantage
• Strong storytelling ability with a solid understanding of narrative structure
• Skilled at writing natural, relatable dialogue
• Emotionally perceptive with a keen sense of character dynamics and conflict
• Familiar with vertical content formats and social media audience behavior
• Creative, communicative, and receptive to feedback and revisions
• Able to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines
• Portfolio of scripts or written work required (short dramas, digital content, or personal projects)
• Willing to commit to a minimum 1-year contract
