Education:
Other trades certificate or diploma. Computer/information technology administration and management, other.
Work setting:
Coffee shop. On-site customer service. Bakery.
Tasks:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports.
- Prepare food order summaries for chef.
- Establish work schedules.
- Serve food and beverages.
- Perform administrative tasks.
- Food safety/handling skills.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment.
- Manage cash.
- Complete administrative duties .
Supervision:
5-10 people. Food and beverage servers.
