Stokes Toyota of Hilton Head is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Light Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team. We are currently in the process of adding Diesel repair to meet the growing need of a quality diesel repair option in Beaufort county.

Job Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair diesel engines in light-duty vehicles, including trucks, vans, and SUVs

Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks

Conduct thorough inspections to identify any potential issues or malfunctions

Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve engine problems

Ensure compliance with safety and emissions regulations

Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed

Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional customer service

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Light Duty Diesel Mechanic, specializing in diesel engine repair

Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, including fuel systems, electrical systems, and emissions control systems

ASE Diesel Engine Certification or equivalent is highly preferred

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
