As a European Demand Planner, you will play a key role in shaping inventory decisions and ensuring product availability across Europe. Acting as the link between Product, Sales and Supply Chain teams, you will transform market insights, customer demand patterns and business priorities into reliable forecasts and actionable recommendations.
Beyond forecasting, you will contribute to assortment decisions, support product launches, and help drive business performance through data-driven decision-making. Your role and impact
Demand Planning & Forecasting
Own the monthly demand forecast at Style-Colour, SKU and warehouse level for a portfolio of approximately 1,600 Style-Colour references:
• Build and maintain accurate forecasts by combining historical sales data, market trends, product lifecycle changes and strategic business priorities.
• Continuously monitor forecast performance and identify risks, opportunities and improvement actions.
• Prepare forecast insights, key assumptions and performance analyses to support monthly S&OP discussions and decision-making.
• Develop business analyses to strengthen forecast accuracy and improve understanding of customer purchasing behaviours.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of demand planning processes, methodologies and tools.
Business Partnership with Product Teams
Act as a trusted partner to Product teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support new collection launches by providing demand planning expertise and commercial insights.
• Contribute to assortment decisions by identifying products to maintain, expand, rationalize or discontinue.
• Analyse product performance, customer purchasing patterns and market trends to support product strategy and business decisions.
• Provide data-driven recommendations that enhance product portfolio performance and availability.
Collaboration with Supply Planning
Work closely with Global Supply Planning teams to ensure the right balance between customer demand, inventory levels and product availability.
• Anticipate supply risks and proactively recommend actions to mitigate potential shortages.
• Trigger urgent replenishment actions when required to maintain targeted service levels.
Inbound Flow & Inventory Management
Monitor and manage inbound product flows into European distribution centres.
• Track, analyse and prioritize sea and air shipments arriving at European warehouses.
• Coordinate stock allocation and transfer activities to improve product availability across the network.
Business Support & Commercial Collaboration
Partner closely with Sales teams to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Provide visibility and recommendations regarding product availability and inventory constraints.
• Assess the impact of major customer opportunities and contracts on stock levels and replenishment plans.
• Deliver specific analyses and follow-up for key accounts and strategic business opportunities.
• Use data and insights to support commercial priorities.
About you
Education & Experience
• University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Finance, Business Analysis or a similar analytical role.
• Experience within a textile, apparel, retail, FMCG or consumer goods environment is a strong asset.
• Exposure to forecasting, inventory management or S&OP processes is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
• French is a plus.
Technical Skills
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of SQL is a strong advantage.
• Experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and planning tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical capabilities and affinity with data-driven decision-making.
