Role summary  We are hiring a PMO & Program Coordinator to own JIRA governance, cross-team release coordination, and project operations across the program. This role is distinct from our Scrum Master, who owns squad-level Agile ceremonies and sprint execution — the PMO & Program Coordinator instead focuses on program-wide tooling governance, coordinating releases with external stakeholders, and keeping the operational mechanics of running the program (access, onboarding, reporting) running smoothly.  Key responsibilities

  1. JIRA administration & governance

Monitor workflow transitions and mandatory fields; correct and coach team members on compliance and best practice

Configure custom fields and automations, including SHIP-HATS service requests

Perform bulk data imports and data cleanup in JIRA

Maintain traceability between tender stories and implementation stories

Produce Agile delivery reporting from JIRA per release

  1. Cross-team release coordination

Coordinate with SimplifyNext, customers, and external reviewers, supporters, and approvers to prepare and approve the release deliverables documentation set

Track and follow up on action items, dependencies, approvals, and status reporting

Provide day-to-day support to all parties involved in the release process

Coordinate with relevant parties, and vendor teams to secure sign-off on the IRF checklist

Follow up on blockers, collate sign-off evidence, and prepare summary decks for stakeholders

  1. Project operations & governance

Manage resource onboarding and offboarding, including TechPass, account provisioning, and SEED set-up coaching and troubleshooting

Prepare, submit, and follow up on Access Control Matrix (ACM) requests across environments, including Atlassian and JEM access

Track leave and consolidate monthly timesheets with vendor teams

Coordinate project presentation materials and track resulting action items

What this role does not cover  Squad-level Agile ceremonies and sprint execution (sprint/SIT/UAT dashboard set-up, opening/closing sprints, daily squad delivery tracking, and fielding BCA queries on squad operating practice)   About you  2–5 years' experience in a PMO or program coordination role

Hands-on JIRA administration experience — workflows, custom fields, automation rules, bulk data operations

Comfortable coordinating across multiple external stakeholders (government/vendor environments a plus) and driving items to closure without direct authority

Strong document and reporting discipline — able to produce clean status decks and traceability records under deadline pressure

Experience with access/account provisioning processes and vendor administration (timesheets, onboarding) is a plus

Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have  Prior experience supporting multi-squad or multi-workstream programs

Familiarity with government/public-sector delivery governance (IRF checklists, ACM processes)

JIRA/Atlassian certification (e.g. Certified JIRA Administrator)
