We are looking for a part-time Human Resources Assistant to join our team. This role is a key point of contact for employees and leaders across the organisation, helping to support everything from recruitment, employee relations to safety and compliance. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes, initiative and genuinely enjoys making a difference in the day-to-day experience of the people around them.

*REPORT CHAIN:*

Human Resources Supervisor

*DURATION: *

Part Time Year Round ? Flexible Hours

*PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:*

*HR ADMINISTRATION*

  • Maintain accurate employee records in collaboration with the Payroll Department.
  • Be available to employees for in person check ins.
  • Assist with policy reviews, employee handbook updates and visa expiry tracking.
  • Complete background checks and maintain a compliance database.

*RECRUITMENT*

  • Prepare and post Job Vacancies.
  • Track and collate all applications.
  • Assist in interviews, pre-screening, reference checks and other recruitment processes as required.

*ONBOARDING*

  • Assist with the Onboarding Process, ensuring all compliance documents are collected.
  • Assist with the distribution of Uniforms.
  • Assist with the distribution of Season Passes.
  • Order employee name badges.
  • Assist with the online orientation training for new employees.
  • Troubleshooting onboarding login issues.

*HR PROJECTS*

  • Assist with new HR initiatives

*TRAINING*

  • Source applicable Training Materials.
  • Co-ordinate with Managers on Training requests.

*EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:*

  • Secondary School Diploma required.
  • Some experience in Human Resources as asset.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships.

*WORKING CONDITIONS:*

  • Part Time ? may include weekends

  • Overtime may be required.

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 ? 24.0 per week
