Requirements

Job Requirements

• Active English proficiency, both spoken and written.
• Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Psychology or Guidance and Counseling (Bimbingan dan Konseling).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Guidance and Counseling Teacher (Guru BK).
• Familiarity with the Cambridge Curriculum or other international curricula will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of child development, educational psychology, and students’ social-emotional needs.
• Able to provide individual and group counseling and develop appropriate guidance programs for primary school students.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Patient, empathetic, responsible, disciplined, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Able to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school management.
• Willing to wear hijab and dress modestly in accordance with the school’s Islamic values and dress code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional training or certification in counseling, child protection, safeguarding, or child mental health.
• Experience handling student behavior management, bullying prevention, peer relationships, and emotional regulation.
• Experience conducting parent consultations and teacher collaboration sessions.
• Familiarity with student safeguarding procedures and referral protocols.
