School Partnerships Lead
About SchooLane
SchooLane (by Fpoint5 Labs) is a school management platform for private schools. Student records, fee collection and parent communication in one place, so proprietors spend less time chasing fees and paperwork. We are live in Ghana and entering Nigeria, starting with Lagos.
The role
We are looking for a Lagos-based School Partnerships Lead to own SchooLane's entry into Lagos. You will build the pipeline, open doors with private school proprietors, sign our first pilot schools and turn them into paying, referenceable customers. You are our person on the ground: strategy, relationships and results, with product, demo and onboarding support from our team.
This is a part-time contract role (minimum 15–20 focused hours a week), field-based in Lagos with remote flexibility, reporting to the founder.
What you will do
Build and own a target list of Lagos private schools and their decision-makers Open doors through proprietor networks, school associations and referrals. This market buys on trust, not ads Book and run meetings with proprietors and principals, and set up product demos with our team Sign pilot schools and stay close to them through their first term so they convert to paid Feed back what Lagos schools need: payment habits, term calendar, parent communication Send a short weekly pipeline report, numbers first
What we are looking for
Based in Lagos, with your own network among school owners, principals or education suppliers 2+ years in sales, business development or partnerships, ideally selling to schools or SMEs Relentless follow-up: you turn interest into signed agreements, and you track every step Confident presenting to business owners; comfortable keeping a simple CRM or tracker up to date Bonus: experience with school associations, education events or school software
How success is measured
Weekly: proprietor meetings held and demos booked. Each term: pilot schools signed and live. Over 12 months: a base of paying Lagos schools that refer others.
How hiring works
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a short, paid two-week launch sprint: a target list of Lagos schools, real conversations with proprietors, and a plan for the first three pilot schools. A strong sprint becomes your first-term plan.
