Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities:

Provide first- and second-line support across enterprise systems and infrastructure. Monitor availability, alerts, capacity, hardware health and backup completion; perform scheduled health checks. Troubleshoot Windows, Linux, virtualisation, network and connectivity issues; escalate specialist faults promptly. Support wireless, voice, CCTV and display systems and monitor relevant power-system alerts. Apply approved patches and changes; maintain asset, configuration, maintenance and incident records. Perform backup verification, restore and failover tests; coordinate vendor support, warranties and spares.\ Prepare incident reports, root-cause findings and service reports; participate in agreed support coverage.

Requirements:

At least 4 years of enterprise infrastructure support experience. Practical Windows, Linux, virtualisation, networking and backup skills. Working knowledge of firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi, CCTV/NVR systems and UPS monitoring. Experience with monitoring platforms, ticketing systems and controlled remote administration. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, escalation and user communication skills.
