Solar Engineer

Responsibilities:

Conduct site surveys and technical assessments. Design, install, commission, and maintain solar power systems. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues relating to solar installations, inverters, batteries, and electrical systems. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Prepare technical reports and project documentation. Provide technical support to clients and internal teams. Supervise installation teams and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

A minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 4–7 years’ hands-on experience in solar energy systems, inverter installations, battery systems, electrical installations, and renewable energy projects. Proven experience in site assessment, system design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems. Strong knowledge of solar panels, inverters, lithium batteries, electrical protection systems, and energy management solutions. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Relevant professional certifications and industry training will be an added advantage.

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 - 250,000
