Your tasks
- Solve and validate advanced mathematical and computational problems.
- Translate mathematical requirements into precise, executable workflows.
- Implement mathematical workflows using Python and command-line-accessible tools.
- Use Python to automate calculations, numerical experiments, parameter sweeps, visualization, and result validation.
Requirements
- An MS or PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computational Science, Theoretical Computer Science, or a closely related quantitative field; or
- A BS in Mathematics or a closely related quantitative field plus at least 1–2 years of mathematics-focused professional or research experience in top companies/institutions.
- Strong expertise in at least one mathematical area, such as applied mathematics, numerical analysis, optimization, probability, statistics, discrete mathematics, algebra, geometry, mathematical modeling, or dynamical systems.
- Relevant tools may include Python, SymPy, SageMath, SciPy, CVXPY, NumPy, GNU Octave, Julia, or similar programmatic mathematical software. Experience with an equivalent CLI-accessible tool is acceptable.
