Salary: £13.50 per hour + Potential Night Shift Allowance Location: Andover, Hampshire Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Start Date: Immediate
We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Pivot Steer Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse operation in Andover. This role is ideal for someone looking to secure a long-term position, with the potential to transition to a permanent role following a successful temporary period.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Operating a Pivot/Flexi forklift truck safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading deliveries.
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse.
- Putting stock away into designated locations.
- Assisting with order picking and other warehouse duties as required.
- Carrying out stock checks and managing inventory movements.
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
- Supporting the wider warehouse team during peak periods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a Pivot/Flexi forklift truck.
- Valid Pivot/Flexi licence is preferred.
- Good warehouse and logistics experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
- Comfortable undertaking general warehouse duties as needed.
- Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the location of the site and shift patterns.
Desirable Skills:
- Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck experience.
- Experience in distribution or FMCG environments.
- Previous stock control or goods-in experience.
