Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and administer enterprise-scale virtual infrastructure utilizing VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server to ensure system availability.
- Develop and execute automation scripts using PowerShell/PowerCLI and Python to streamline infrastructure provisioning, compliance patching, and lifecycle operations.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning across complex computing, storage, and networking layers.
- Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives by integrating containerization platforms like Red Hat OpenShift and maintaining technical operations documentation.
Key Requirements:
- ✅ 10+ years of overall IT experience
- ✅ 3-5 years of hands-on experience in VMware Virtualization (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
- ✅ Strong experience invirtualization administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- ✅ Automation and scripting expertise using PowerShell and/or Python
- ✅ Experience supporting enterprise-scale virtual infrastructure environments
- ✅ Knowledge of storage,networking, and infrastructure operations
Nice to Have:
- ✅ Exposure to Red Hat OpenShift or container platforms
- ✅ Experience with infrastructure automation and modernization initiatives
