Supervisor – Track

Key Responsibilities Supervise and assign daily work to field crews.

Lead safety briefings and enforce PPE, FRA, DOT, and company safety standards.

Oversee project execution, including hands-on field work and heavy equipment operation.

Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and regulatory agencies.

Submit accurate payroll, equipment usage, and project reports.

Train, coach, and evaluate team members.

Prepare job quotes, including labor, equipment, and logistics.

Monitor equipment readiness and ensure equipment is properly maintained and available for field operations.

Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to established standards.

Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of railroad industry experience.

Knowledge of DOT, FRA, and applicable safety regulations .

Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting systems .

Valid driver's license; CDL Class A or B preferred .

Experience operating heavy equipment, including cranes, excavators, or similar equipment .

Ability to read and understand load charts and rigging practices .

Ability to lead field crews in demanding and time-sensitive work environments.

Strong organizational and reporting skills.

Physical & Work Requirements Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions .

Frequent travel with overnight stays required.

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, walking on uneven terrain, and working extended hours.

Ability to work in active railroad and field environments.
