Gallus Technician (Printing and Packaging Experienced)

About the role

This role is going to be placed in our sister's company, PT Indo Kreasi Grafika (Batam Based) and a Gallus Technician is responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of Gallus printing presses used in label and packaging production. The role ensures high-quality print output, machine reliability, and adherence to safety and production standards.

Key responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on Gallus Labelmaster 440 and Labelmaster 340

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, operational and printing-related issues to minimize downtime

Replace worn parts and ensure proper lubrication of components

Maintain accurate maintenance logs

Report any major issues to Assistant Mgr. Engineering and suggest improvements

Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and legislation to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications Technical diploma or equivalent in Printing or Mechanical Engineering

3–5 years on technical Gallus and Flexographic printing

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Ability to read technical manuals and troubleshoot mechanical issues

Familiarity with Flexo inks, substrates (e.g., BOPP, PET, PVC), and colour management systems

Strong oral and written skills in English
