Finance Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

General

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Manage cash flow, investments, and overall financial performance.
• Prepare and review financial reports and provide management insights.
• Ensure compliance with financial laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Establish and maintain effective financial controls and risk management.
• Lead and manage the finance and accounting team.
• Work closely with senior management to support business growth and profitability.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve costs, efficiency, and financial performance.

BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA, ACCA) is preferred.
• Master's degree in Finance, MBA, or related field is an advantage.
• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial management.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Experience in managing cash flow, investments, and financial risk.
• Experience in leading and managing finance teams.
