Employment type: Full-time
Salary : N120k - N150k
Working hours: 9am – 7pm, Tuesday to Saturday; 12pm – 7pm on Sundays
Job Summary
Our client needs a hands-on Floor Manager to oversee daily salon operations from staff coordination and service quality to client satisfaction and stock control. This role is critical to ensuring the salon runs efficiently and delivers a consistent, premium client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations across all salon sections (hair, wig, braiding, pedicure/manicure, lash/brow)
- Coordinate staff schedules, shifts, and daily task assignments
- Monitor service quality and ensure client satisfaction standards are met
- Manage client flow and resolve service-related complaints or conflicts
- Track and manage inventory of salon supplies and consumables
- Enforce hygiene, grooming, and professionalism standards among staff
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance monitoring of salon staff
- Prepare daily/weekly operational and revenue reports for the founders
- Liaise between staff and management on operational issues
- Ensure the salon environment (equipment, ambiance, cleanliness) meets brand standards
Requirements
- HND/BSc in a relevant field (Business Admin, Management, or similar); relevant experience can substitute
- 2+ years' experience in salon/spa management or a similar supervisory retail/service role
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Good understanding of salon operations and service standards
- Basic financial/inventory management skills
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Must reside in or very close to Surulere, Lagos (proximity to Surulere is required)
