About Omnidian   Omnidian, Inc. is a fast-growing Series C tech-enabled service company revolutionizing performance assurance for the distributed solar and energy storage industries.  Omnidian is building a more sustainable future for the planet through our passionate teams, our innovative technology, and by creating an amazing customer experience.   We are a certified B Corp that formed in the US in 2016 and have been growing globally since then. We expanded to Australia in 2022, acquired Solar Service Guys in Australia in 2025, and have opened up a new talent hub in Costa Rica in 2026. Be part of the "First Wave" experience! You would be a founding member of our Costa Rica team, helping us build a brand-new hub from the ground up.  Pura Vida is more than a slogan; it’s the peace of mind we provide our solar customers and the culture we are building together in San José and around the globe. Come join us! The Job What You'll Do At Omnidian we believe in trust and autonomy. How you create an impact is ultimately up to you. Here is an outline of some of the things you’ll be doing: 1. Portfolio Analysis & Risk Modeling Monitor and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly delinquency trends (30/60/90+ days past due). Segment the aging portfolio by financing product type (PPA, Lease, Loan), geographic region, utility territory, and customer credit tier (FICO score at underwriting) to identify pockets of risk. Develop predictive models to identify "high-risk" accounts early in the delinquency cycle (early-stage roll rates). Develop predictive analyses that provide cure confidence based on customer, system health, and maintenance inputs as well as the cure value based on lease and incentive value. Leverage Automated and AI agents and tools to drive insightful analyses and novel ways to highlight actionable data. 2. Operational Collections Support & Strategy Design, test, and optimize collections strategies (e.g., timing of automated SMS/emails vs. manual phone calls). Create and manage daily/weekly operational queues and calling lists for the collections team to maximize recovery rates. Analyze the cost-benefit of various recovery methods, including payment plans, automated clearing house (ACH) setups, and UCC-1 fixture filing legal actions. 3. Solar-Specific Cross-Functional Analysis Asset Performance Linking: Partner with the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) data team to cross-reference delinquent accounts with underproducing or offline solar systems. (Identify customers withholding payment due to system performance issues). PTO (Permission to Operate) Analysis: Track delinquency spikes tied to the transition period between solar installation and utility activation. 4. Reporting & Data Governance Build, maintain, and automate interactive dashboards (via Power BI or Tableau) tracking key performance metrics like Bad Debt Expense , Roll Rates , and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) . Present findings and performance forecasting to Executive Finance and Risk leadership. Maintain clean data pipelines between the CRM (e.g., Salesforce), loan servicing platforms, and data warehouses. Who You Are Root-Cause Mentality: You have an obsession with digging past the surface level to understand why a customer isn't paying. Communication: You possess the ability to translate complex data tables into clear, actionable stories for non-technical collections staff and executives. Empathy & Ethics: You understand the compliance boundaries of collections (FDCPA regulations) while keeping customer preservation in mind. Experience You’ll Need Data Experience: 2–4+ years as a Data Analyst, specifically within consumer collections, credit risk, or loan servicing . Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. SQL: Advanced proficiency -- must be able to confidently write complex queries, joins, and aggregations to extract data from data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, etc.). BI Tools: Strong experience building production-level dashboards in Sigma or other tools, leveraging AI Excel: Advanced modeling skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, macro awareness). AI Agents: Experience utilizing Claude, Gemini, Copilot and other AI analysis tools to model and automate insights. Experience That’s a Plus Python/R: Experience utilizing Python (Pandas, NumPy) for predictive data modeling and automation is a major plus. Solar/Renewable Energy Experience: Understanding of solar-specific billing models (fixed monthly vs. per-kWh production billing) is highly advantageous.
