We are looking for a Engineering Manager to integrate a hybrid project in Lisbon. Salary range: 49 450,00€ - 49 900,00€ annual gross.

Profile:

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, QA Engineering or a similar technical role;
• Proven experience leading, coaching and developing engineering teams;
• Strong background combining people management with technical leadership;
• Experience driving software delivery and engineering excellence;
• Strong understanding of software quality, maintainability, testability and operational excellence;
• Experience working closely with Product Owners, Agile Leads and business stakeholders;
• Ability to translate business priorities into realistic and sustainable delivery plans;
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Passion for building collaborative, empowered and high-performing engineering teams;
• Excellent written and spoken English;
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Own delivery execution and ensure alignment with the technology roadmap;
• Drive sustainable, predictable and high-quality software delivery;
• Act as line manager for engineers, providing coaching, feedback, staffing and performance management;
• Bring engineering best practices and technical direction into the team;
• Promote engineering quality, maintainability and operational excellence;
• Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to align delivery with business priorities;
• Act as the technical counterpart to the Product Owner within the team;
• Support the implementation of the technology strategy, standardization and continuous improvement initiatives;
• Foster a collaborative, accountable and continuous improvement engineering culture;
• Participate actively in the day-to-day activities of Agile product teams.
