Backend Engineer

Location: Jakarta Employment Type: Project-Based / Contract (12 Months)

About the Role We are looking for a Backend Engineer (Middle) to join our project team in Jakarta. In this role, you will be responsible for developing secure and scalable backend services, optimizing platform performance, and building high-quality APIs that support business processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient software solutions following engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop secure and scalable server-side components in accordance with software engineering best practices.
• Develop and optimize the technology ecosystem of the Procurement Platform.
• Translate business workflows and UX/UI designs into efficient and reliable APIs.
• Perform backend testing and code validation to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous system improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Diploma IV (D4) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in backend software development.
• Proven experience in application development, software testing, validation, programming, and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of backend application architecture and software engineering principles.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
