BMS Commissioning Engineer

Location: United Arab Emirates – Abu Dhabi or Ajman

Tenure: 12 months extendable

Responsibilities

Implementing BMS technical solutions for client projects using Electric’s BMS/EMS software and hardware platform.

Managing site installations and sub-contractors with the support of project manager and lead engineers.

Commissioning solutions as part of customer orders incorporating the software, graphics, installation, and commissioning of building management control systems and third-party integration.

Configuring BMS systems – setting up servers and network. Integration to other systems via Modbus, Bacnet, MQTT, etc.

Pre-commissioning control panels and field devices onto new and existing systems.

Skills and qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or an equivalent engineering discipline.

Minimum of 2-5 years of work experience in BMS, HVAC, or controls/automation. EBO and AS-P system experience is preferred.

Previous experience working with highly complex BMS control solutions. Experience in data centre industry is preferred.

Clear understanding of integration of building systems protocols like BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, etc., and IP infrastructure.

Flexible to travel.
