_MCL is currently seeking a Carpenter to join our team_
_Position Description:_
- _Assist with daily tasks and duties contributing to on-site day-to-day operations_
- _Assist in the assembly and erection of forms for concrete, wood and metal frame construction and use plans and instruments to prepare for excavating and shoring_
- _Participate in Tool Box Talks daily and communicate any safety concerns_
- _Maintain a clean, safe work environment, and comply with all Health & Safety regulations_
- _Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment_
- _Keep a daily log of tasks_
- _Respect and respond to direction given_
- _Handle and transport job materials to the work area as needed_
- _Advise Journeypersons/Forepersons of any variances to schedule and/or material issues_
- _Perform other related duties, including minor duties of other trades where certification is not required and the work does not exceed own limitations_
- _Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures_
_Requirements:_
- _3-5 years? experience working in heavy construction_
- _Must have concrete pouring experience_
- _Flat concrete finishing experience is an asset_
- _Experience working with circular formwork tanks is an asset_
- _Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures_
- _Ability to operate carpentry tools and required equipment in a safe and responsible manner_
- _Ability to read building specifications, prints and as-builds_
- _Proactive in ensuring job knowledge is current_
- _Respect diversity - treat others with respect_
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00-$45.00 per hour

Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- Carpentry: 5 years (required)
- Concrete forming: 3 years (required)
