Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding works using appropriate welding methods and equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and specifications.
- Prepare, cut, fit, and assemble metal components before welding.
- Inspect welded joints and finished work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Operate and maintain welding machines, tools, and related equipment safely.
- Carry out repair and maintenance welding as required.
- Complete assigned welding tasks within the required time and quality standards.
- Perform other duties related to welding and fabrication as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a Welder or in a similar welding/fabrication role.
- Knowledge of welding processes.
- Able to read and understand technical drawings and welding specifications.
- Familiar with welding tools, equipment, and basic metal fabrication techniques.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Physically fit and able to work in a workshop, construction site, or industrial environment.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant welding certificates or qualifications are an advantage.
- Willingness to work overtime or shifts when required.
