About the Position: This position is located within Womack Army Medical Center, Department of Logistics. Incumbent will serve as a Supply Technician and perform clerical and technical duties in support of the receipt and dissemination of medical and non-medical supplies and services. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Major duties

  • Maintain visibility on customer's transaction history to communicate with the customer of all due in materials.
  • Review computer formats to ensure that automated transactions have been processed.
  • Utilize automated software to perform a variety of administrative duties such as creating reports, drafting memorandums, and/or sending/receiving electronic correspondence.
  • Utilize automated medical logistics systems and maintenance systems to enter and retrieve data.
  • Coordinates with warehouse personnel to setup and provides assistance in the inventory process.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing an automated logistics system to order supplies; replenishing stock level within a medical treatment facility (MTF) and/or clinic; assisting with reorder quantity of various medical supplies.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
