Liquid Personnel is seeking a highly experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join their Adult Social Care team at Walthamstow. This role is suited to a professional with advanced moving and handling expertise and a minimum of three years’ experience in a local authority social services setting.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct strength-based assessments in line with the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation

Assess individuals in their own homes to maximise independence and safety

Recommend and coordinate the provision of equipment and structural adaptations

Collaborate with housing teams, contractors, and community partners

Manage a varied caseload in accordance with Adult Social Care priorities

Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding and legal processes

Engage in ongoing professional development

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy

HCPC registration

Enhanced DBS check (required prior to start)

Minimum 3 years post-qualified experience

Proven experience in social services settings (not just hospital-based roles)

High-level expertise in moving and handling

Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, equipment provision, and adaptations
