MRP Engineer.sheet metal

MRP Engineer supports material planning and production scheduling by maintaining accurate data within the MRP system.

Assist in maintaining and updating MRP data.

Monitor material requirements and flag potential shortages or excess inventory

Support production planning by generating and reviewing MRP reports

Coordinate with purchasing, production, and inventory teams to ensure material availability

Help track purchase orders and production orders in the ERP/MRP system

Participate in data cleanup and process improvement initiatives

Prepare basic reports and analyses related to inventory, demand, and supply

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

3 – 6 years of experience in manufacturing, planning, or supply chain (internships count).

Basic understanding of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo ,Microsoft Dynamics).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools.

Exposer to Microsoft Project.

Good communication skills and willingness to learn

Preferred Skills Exposure to lean manufacturing or supply chain concepts

Basic data analysis or reporting experience

Interest in process improvement and operations
