Job Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all M&E engineering activities in construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, approved drawings, and project timelines.

Manage the planning, scheduling, coordination, and integration of M&E systems installation and commissioning.

Supervise M&E subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality work, safety, and compliance with contractual obligations.

Monitor and track the progress of M&E works, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and other departments to resolve technical issues, discrepancies, and ensure seamless integration of M&E systems with other building components.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, building codes, and quality assurance requirements (e.g., CONQUAS, QM).

Liaise with clients, consultants, relevant authorities, and subcontractors regarding M&E issues, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.

Ensure M&E works comply with Safe Work Procedures and safety regulations throughout the installation and commissioning process.

Prepare and submit M&E-related documentation, reports, and progress updates as required by the project schedule.

Handle any other ad-hoc duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or related fields; PE Board recognized degree is preferred.

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with strong M&E project management expertise and at least one completed project cycle.

Possess Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP) certification is a plus.

Experience with MOHH or HDB projects is a plus.

Proficient in Autodesk Revit, BIM software, or other M&E design tools.

Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to supervise teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.

In-depth knowledge of M&E systems, installation methods, and industry standards.
