Job Description King Taekwondo is a growing martial arts academy in Barrie. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist.
Your tasks
- Welcome families and assist with new student inquiries and registrations.
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and customer questions.
- Manage student accounts, billing, and general administrative tasks.
- Assist with newsletters, social media, and academy events.
- Support daily operations and other tasks as needed.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has strong customer service and communication skills, pays attention to detail, and enjoys working in a busy, family-friendly environment.

- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Able to multitask and work independently.
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Experience working with children or in after-school programs.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and comfortable driving a minivan.
- Previous reception, administrative, or sales experience.
- Experience with social media or Google Workspace.
- Taekwondo, martial arts, or recreational program background.

Experience is valuable, but a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are just as important.
What we offer
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
