General Summary The Warehouse I will work day-to-day to meet the goals of the department. They are responsible for loading picking materials, auditing uppers and supplying production, shipping, loading trucks, unloading trucks, receiving materials and keeping the warehouse well organized and clean.

Hourly rate: $18/hr; Full Time Benefits Eligible Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday / 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Essential Responsibilities

Pick shoe components to prepare the packages for production (uppers, outsoles, footbeds)

Conduct quality and size inspections. Ensure that upper sizes and style match with outsoles and footbeds

Stack boxes onto a pallet and wrap them with plastic foil to prepare them for shipping

Place components into plastic and carton crates to be stacked and organized by component type

Label boxes according to material, color and size

Unload containers in an efficient manner and place product in the appropriate location in the warehouse

Handle shipping tasks as needed

Clean work area regularly on a daily basis

Drive the forklift to unload containers and to keep the warehouse organized. Training and certification will be provided

Minimum qualifications

Must be able to work in a fast paced, high quality warehouse environment

Must be able to function in a safe manner; observe safety practices

Must have strong work ethic, accountability and positive attitude

Excellent attention to detail and overall work instructions

Ability to work well with others in a team environment

Basic mathematical, reading skills and reasoning ability

Travel Required

This position will not require travel

Base Salary: $18.00 hourly This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and location.
