Senior Planning Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team on a high speed rail project in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in planning, scheduling, and coordinating all project activities to ensure timely and efficient project delivery within the construction sector.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in line with project objectives and milestones.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate project plans and ensure alignment of activities across departments.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or risks, and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for project stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Manage resource allocation and assist in forecasting future resource needs.
• Utilize project management software to analyze data and update schedules accordingly.
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project planning within large-scale construction projects, preferably in high speed rail or transportation infrastructure.
• Proficient in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of UAE construction laws and regulations is highly desirable.
• Fluent in English
