Accountabilities Strategic Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with foodservice operators, distributors, brokers, and key partners across foodservice and away-from-home channels. Use data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize assortment, pricing, merchandising, shelving, and menu strategies.

Annual Business Planning: Develop and execute annual business plans in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders. Monitor performance against targets, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions as channel priorities evolve.

Trade Spend and Promotional Management: Design effective, channel-specific promotional programs that balance sales growth with profitability. Analyze promotional performance, optimize trade investments, and minimize unnecessary spending while maximizing commercial impact.

Broker and Distributor Performance: Lead sales execution in partnership with brokers and foodservice distributors. Establish key performance indicators, use scorecards to track results, conduct regular business reviews, and implement improvement plans to strengthen market penetration and sales growth.

Channel Strategy and Development: Partner with the Director of Foodservice & Away From Home to evaluate and prioritize channel opportunities, identify high-potential customers, and support the continued expansion of the business.

Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) Partnerships: Support and grow relationships with GPO partners, including Foodbuy, Premier, and Entegra. Collaborate on promotions, operator outreach, and program visibility to increase adoption and revenue.

Sales Forecasting and Business Insights: Deliver accurate, timely sales forecasts to support production planning, inventory management, and financial projections. Use CRM data, market reports, consumption trends, and customer feedback to refine forecasting models and present actionable insights to senior leadership.

Customer and Industry Engagement: Represent the business in customer meetings, broker discussions, and industry trade shows, building relationships and identifying new opportunities for growth. Travel as needed, with the ability to travel 50% or more of the time.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.

At least 5 years of experience in CPG account management, trade marketing, and broker or distributor management, including direct experience in foodservice or away-from-home channels.

Experience working with both established, large CPG brands and challenger brands, with a demonstrated ability to drive growth in competitive markets.

Proven expertise in strategic account development, annual business planning, channel expansion, promotional strategy, and commercial performance management.

Strong analytical and financial skills, including experience with sales forecasting, trade spend optimization, and consumption data analysis using tools such as SPINS.

Proficiency in CRM systems, forecasting tools, Microsoft Office, and other relevant business applications.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across organizational levels.

Strong organizational and planning capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and translate data into actionable business strategies.

A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership skills, and a results-oriented approach to building partnerships and achieving sales targets.

Willingness and ability to travel 50% or more of the time, depending on business needs.
