Accountabilities: Lead and manage IT systems audit projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and compliance requirements.

Oversee planning, execution, and reporting of audit engagements across financial systems, IT controls, and regulatory compliance areas.

Provide technical direction and guidance to audit teams, reviewing work products for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.

Evaluate IT general controls including cybersecurity, access management, change controls, and segregation of duties within ERP and financial systems.

Interface directly with clients and government stakeholders to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates.

Deliver presentations and lead meetings with stakeholders to support audit outcomes and decision-making processes.

Ensure compliance with federal frameworks including GAO standards, OMB Circulars, FISCAM, and related audit guidance.

Apply accounting principles and audit methodologies to support risk identification and performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.

Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing.

6+ years of experience in financial auditing, IT auditing, or audit advisory services, including at least 2 years in a leadership or federal government environment.

Proven experience managing audit or compliance projects from planning through delivery.

Strong knowledge of federal financial regulations, including OMB Circulars A-123, A-127, and A-134.

Familiarity with Federal Information Systems Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM) and Federal Acquisition Regulations.

Experience working with Department of Defense or other federal agencies (e.g., DLA, DoW) strongly preferred.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and technical writing skills with attention to detail.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project).

Relevant professional certification from a recognized auditing or accounting authority required.

Must possess or be eligible for IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance (Tier 3).
