Do you love baking, creating beautiful treats, and bringing sweet ideas to life? We?re looking for a passionate, creative, and detail-oriented Full-Time Baker to join our team at our aesthetic café in the heart of Yorkville!

Your tasks

We?re searching for someone who enjoys making fresh, delicious baked goods, especially cinnamon rolls, pastries, cookies, and other small treats that look just as good as they taste. If you have a passion for baking, an eye for presentation, and feel comfortable being on camera for social media content, we?d love to meet you!

What You?ll Do

• Prepare and bake fresh cinnamon rolls.
• Follow recipes and maintain consistent quality, taste, texture, and presentation.
• Prepare doughs, fillings, frostings, glazes, and other baking components as needed.
• Decorate and present baked goods beautifully to match our café?s aesthetic.
• Assist with developing seasonal specials, new flavours, and creative baked goods.
• Manage baking preparation and timing to ensure fresh products are available throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary baking workspace.
• Monitor ingredient inventory and communicate when supplies need replenishing.
• Follow proper food safety, storage, and hygiene practices.
• Be comfortable appearing on camera for social media content, including baking videos, behind-the-scenes clips, and product showcases.
• Help capture engaging content that highlights our baking process, fresh treats, and the overall atmosphere of our café.

Requirements

What We?re Looking For

• A genuine passion for baking and creating delicious treats.
• Experience making cinnamon rolls, pastries, cookies, or other baked goods.
• Strong attention to detail, consistency, and presentation.
• Creativity and an interest in experimenting with new recipes and flavour combinations.
• Someone who is comfortable on camera and happy to participate in social media content creation.
• Good time management and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Someone who is reliable, organized, hardworking, and eager to learn.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Previous bakery or café experience is preferred, but enthusiasm and the right attitude go a long way.
