Accounts Receivable Specialist

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive finance professional who enjoys managing customer accounts, improving cash flow, and delivering outstanding customer service within a busy finance function. Your new role As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices whilst maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, resolving queries, and supporting the wider accounts receivable process. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring invoices are paid within agreed terms. Proactively chase outstanding debt via telephone and email. Investigate and resolve invoice and payment queries efficiently. Allocate customer payments and reconcile accounts. Produce aged debt reports and escalate high-risk accounts where required. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal departments. Support month-end processes and reporting requirements. Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance cash collection performance. What you'll need to succeed Previous experience within Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Sales Ledger. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities. Ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines.
