F&B Supervisor - Preopening
The F&B Supervisor will support the pre-opening and daily operations of the Food & Beverage department, ensuring operational readiness, service quality, and compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on F&B experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced pre-opening environment.
Key responsibilities
Preparing the outlet for pre-opening and daily operations
Assist in developing and implementing SOPs, service standards, and operational procedures
Coordinate the setup of restaurant, bar, kitchen, equipment, and service areas
Conduct operational readiness checks before opening
Assist with recruitment, training, coaching, and briefing of F&B staff
Prepare staff schedules, daily assignments, and shift briefings
Ensure excellent guest service and handle guest complaints professionally
Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, hygiene, and service standards
Control inventory, stock usage, equipment, and operational supplies
Coordinate closely with Kitchen, Stewarding, Engineering, Housekeeping, and other departments
About you
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in F&B operations, preferably as an F&B Supervisor or Team Leader
Pre-opening experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, café, or beach club is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of F&B service operations and guest service standards
Experience in staff training, briefing, scheduling, and team supervision
Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Able to work under pressure and meet tight pre-opening deadlines
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Good command of English, both spoken and written
Strong attention to detail and a positive, hands-on attitude
