Control System Engineer (PLC / Industrial Automation)

Basic $4000 to $5800 + Variable Bonus + Allowances

Working location: West

Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm (Mon – Fri)

Job Responsibilities:

Manage and implement automation and control system projects from planning through commissioning and handover.

Develop and modify software programs for industrial control systems.

Perform system integration involving PLCs, I/O systems, control instrumentation and industrial communication protocols.

Conduct system testing, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Diagnose and resolve control software, hardware, instrumentation and communication issues.

Provide system operation and technical training to customers.

Coordinate with customers, vendors and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Prepare technical documentation, test reports and project records.

Work across different environments, including process plants, marine vessels and construction sites.

Ensure projects are completed according to schedule, technical specifications and quality requirements.

Requirements: Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related Engineering discipline.

Preferably 2–3 years of relevant experience in industrial automation or control systems.

Diploma holders with 3–5 years of relevant experience may also be considered.

Proficient in PLC programming, with knowledge of C++ and Python.

Good understanding of industrial control systems, I/O systems, control instrumentation and industrial communication protocols.

Hands-on experience in system integration, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.

Experience with laboratory control systems is advantageous.
