Constant support of dedicated consultant Employee referral program
Daily tasks
- Work with Product on their requirements, often helping to shape them, then break them down into features, stories and other deliverables
- Map current and future business processes and their impact on systems
- Make sure the solution works for the people who run it and use it: bring in Process, Product and Operations at the right time, so every question is answered and the design serves their goals
- Create wireframes and prototypes to clarify requirements, explore user journeys and validate proposed solutions with users, Product and the delivery team
- Contribute to solution architecture by modelling system behaviour, drafting API contracts and defining non-functional requirements
- Use AI across the whole analysis cycle (discovery, process maps, prototypes, user stories), owning every output: accurate, concise, specific and fit for purpose
- Keep the team backlog at the right size, and contribute to shaping and breaking down the longer-term roadmap with Delivery leadership
- Gather estimates with the delivery team and subject matter experts, and support project leadership with estimates at each stage of requirement readiness
- Identify scope creep early and propose options to keep releases small
- Coordinate stories, scope and dependencies with other analysts, team leaders and architects on shared projects
- Work with external vendors and partner teams on requirements, dependencies and timelines
- Work with business and product representatives on UAT and post-release feedback, and turn it into backlog actions
- Keep documentation and the decision log up to date, and communicate changes to those affected
Requirements
- Proven business analysis experience on digital products in agile teams, covering new builds and enhancements to live systems
- Strong business process mapping and systems analysis, including integrations and APIs
- Able to progress analysis while requirements are still evolving, keeping assumptions and decisions clearly recorded
- Uses data, user feedback and support insight to understand the underlying problem
- Able to facilitate workshops, resolve conflicting requirements and help stakeholders agree on priorities and trade-offs
- Communicates with clear, concise written English and has strong business and technical diagramming skills
- Experience working with external vendors, offshore or nearshore development teams and third party suppliers
- Uses agentic AI tools (e.g. Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode) as a normal part of daily work; has used them to build, automate or analyse real work, and can explain how they made sure the result was right; builds repeatable AI workflows rather than one-off prompts; knows the strengths, limits and costs of different models and chooses between them
- Genuinely curious about new technology, what it can do and how it can help development team ways of working
