Review MEP design packages — drawings, submittals, design reports, calculations, and equipment data sheets — and provide clear comments and observations.
Check design information for completeness, consistency, and alignment with project and commissioning requirements, and raise queries where needed.
Prepare MEP commissioning documents from company templates: commissioning plans, method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), pre-functional and functional test checklists, and test scripts.
Produce and format review comments and documentation in French, keeping wording clear and consistent.
Maintain project registers and logs, including asset registers, equipment lists, comment/review logs, and issue/defect trackers.
Update and organize documentation as feedback comes in from project and site teams.
Compile progress and status reports for the technical office and project managers.
Coordinate remotely with design, site, and project teams to collect the information needed to complete reviews and documents.
Keep files organized, version-controlled, and stored according to company procedures.
Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
2–4 years of experience in MEP design, technical office, or commissioning work.
Ability to read and understand MEP drawings, submittals, and design reports.
Fluent French (spoken and written) — this is essential.
Working proficiency in English.
Good command of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel); ability to review drawings in PDF/AutoCAD viewers.
Sound understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection). Commissioning knowledge is a plus — training will be provided.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow standard templates and procedures.
