Support Worker (Ad Hoc)
Skegness, Lincolnshire (PE25 3) £13.17 per hour Flexible Day & Night Shifts Available
Brook Street Social Care are recruiting experienced Support Workers to provide ad hoc cover within a supported accommodation service in Skegness.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support vulnerable adults by promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive life outcomes within a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred support to vulnerable adults
- Support independent living skills and daily routines
- Provide practical and emotional support
- Maintain accurate records and case notes
- Work in line with safeguarding procedures
- Support residents to access local services and opportunities
Requirements
- Previous experience in support work, homelessness, supported housing, mental health, or social care
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding and risk management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to cover shifts at short notice
Shift Patterns
- Days: 8:00am - 11:00pm
- Nights: 11:00pm - 8:00am
- Weekend and Bank Holiday availability desirable
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly desirable due to the location and shift requirements.
