DPPC Operator (Print & Dispatch Room)

Location: Plymouth

If you thrive on pace, precision, and hands-on production work, this is a brilliant opportunity to support day-to-day document output for a reputed client. You'll help ensure high-quality print, accurate dispatch, and smooth day-to-day operations for around 4,000 documents per day , plus ad-hoc jobs such as posters and large format printing

What you'll be doing:

• Produce daily print and dispatch output by operating and maintaining printers and envelopers
• Undertake full print/dispatch room production tasks using manual and machine-assisted methods
• Carry out regular quality checks during production, adjusting machine settings as needed
• Monitor and manage use of print room consumables efficiently
• Perform routine maintenance to keep equipment at safe operating levels
• Match documentation and insert it into envelopes manually, accurately and consistently
• Dispatch work via third-party suppliers, supporting timely delivery of outputs
• Handle fault diagnostics and carry out repairs within your training and supported guidance
• Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance and production statistics, and share them in the appropriate form
• Follow Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times

• Knowledge of printing on printers and wide format plotters (desirable)
