Project Engineer

Company Overview

The client is a construction and engineering company specializing in M&E services for industrial and commercial buildings. They are BCA-registered contractors for Electrical, ACMV, Plumbing & Sanitary, and Fire Protection systems, offering design, installation, maintenance, and project management services.

Job Summary

You will monitor and coordinate site activities to ensure timely project execution, collaborating with stakeholders and supporting the Project Manager to deliver high-quality Mechanical and Electrical engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document site progress to ensure accurate tracking of project execution and timely completion
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules for work activities and inspections to meet project deadlines
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, architects, and subcontractors to resolve site issues and facilitate smooth operations
• Report project progress and escalate issues regularly to the Project Manager to support informed decision-making
• Assist the Project Manager with ad-hoc tasks to enhance overall project delivery and efficiency

Required competencies and certifications

• NTC, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge of Electrical, ACMV, Fire Protection, and Plumbing & Sanitary systems relevant to Singapore projects
• Minimum 3 to 8 years of experience in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering works within office fit-out and construction industries

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Immediate availability and current residency in Singapore
• Ability to work a 5.5-day work schedule
